The Community Leadership Institute (CLI) trains and places advocates from low-income communities and communities of color to move an equity agenda on strategic local and regional boards and commissions. The six-month Fellowship deepens and integrates knowledge about affordable housing, transportation justice, economic and workforce development and labor, health equity and climate justice, and land use planning.  Fellows learn how to play the “rules of the game,” including Parliamentary Procedure and municipal budgeting effectively and ethically, and reflect on the Art of Politics.
